Because of a long-term dishwasher leak this Harrisonburg home suffered water and mold damage. The leak caused moisture behind the cabinets in the kitchen, mold then feeds on any organic material and grows rapidly. There are two ways to get rid of mold, clean it, and or remove it. This work needs to be done under controlled conditions, using contained areas under negative air pressure. This is only achieved using specific guidelines and specialized equipment. Our crew provided drying equipment, negative air machines, and IICRC S520 procedural standards for mold remediation. After completion of mold mitigation, the job was inspected, and clearance tested by an Industrial Hygienist. SERVPRO then handled all repair services for this job.
