Maintain Bathroom Plumbing
9/14/2020 (Permalink)
Maintaining your bathroom plumbing can prevent water damages that can be costly. Regular maintenance can be helpful in preventing not only water damage but also higher water and electric bills due to water loss.
Leaking faucets and shower heads should be repaired or replaced.
Water shut off valves should be inspected to be sure they are working properly.
Water lines themselves should be inspected to make sure there are no leaks at the joints or pinholes in the pipes.
Toilets should be inspected to make sure that the water flow is shutting off properly and that the floor around the toilet is not “soft” indicating a defective seal.
By checking your faucets, shower, tub, shut off valves, water lines and toilet on a regular basis you may prevent a more costly expense by preventing a water damage to occur. However, if you do experience a water damage, we will be ready to assist you. Call SERVPRO of Rockingham and Augusta Counties at 540-433-6100.
